The Classic Guitar Resource For The Classical Guitar Enthusiast

Hello I'm Neil Watson, welcome to TheClassicGuitar.com.
Ok so is it
Classic Guitar or Classical Guitar? My definition is this. The Classic Guitar is the type of Guitar usually played in the classical style. Of course it doesn't really matter whether you call it Classic Guitar or Classical Guitar you are a still a Guitar enthusiast...Right!

This website is designed specifically for YOU, the Classical Guitar enthusiast, and anyone looking for information and recommendations relative to the Classical Guitar.

It is more than 50 years now since I heard some music on my parents radio set and, although only 8 years old, I was mesmerized. I learned afterwards that I had been listening to "Asturias" (Leyenda) by Isaac Albeniz performed by Andres Segovia. This was the moment that my passion for all things Classical Guitar was born. I subsequently set about teaching myself to play the Classical Guitar (as did Andres Segovia). Although only an enthusiastic amateur my passion has continued throughout my life. I achieved concert standard and played at many concerts both solo and ensemble. I have also had the privilege of participating in master classes with some of today's leading guitarists, for example Simon Dinnigan and John Mills.

My website is a collection of information and recommendation in the form of text, image, video and links, based around my accumulated knowledge and experience as a guitarist and performer.

I have included beginners Guitar Lessons, recommended Books & DVDs, a Guitar Shop, a Guitar Accessories shop and lot's of useful information.

I hope you find all the information you are looking for.
